  1. Enable the use of functions such as Split directly queries

Enable the use of functions such as Split directly queries

It makes no sense to be required to make dummy function to use built-in very useful functions in a query!

  2. commandbar

Please provide a meaningful value (other than the current " ") for the Name property of the Commandbar object representing the shortcut menu which comes up when you right-click the very top of a Form open in Form mode (and ditto for reports) so that this can easily be disabled in code. It is currently one of three Commandbars with no meaningful Name.

  3. Fix the Object Dependencies tool for Queries with table Aliases

Object dependencies does not work correctly for queries where table alias are used. It displays the alias name, not the table name. This is very annoying.

  5. Additional Error Object properties - which procedure, which module, which object, which db

The error object should be expanded to included properties which can reveal the procedure, module, and object that the error is taking place in.

  7. Make an EASY, built-in way to develop and keep pure VBA code, separate-but-visible-and-seamlessly-callable from any Office app.

Probably impossible. But would have made a big difference to me while learning! Had slightly different versions of many of the same routines in several different apps before I even realized what was happening; took a very long time to separate back out.

  8. Reference from Relative Position in a Query

In Queries, it would be nice to be able to reference a value in a record relative to the current one.

For instance, many times it is required to get a difference in a changed value

  9. Uniform Mouse Behvior Throughout the Application

It would be nice if you could standardize the mouse Behavior throughout the various components in the application.

There are a number of examples, but one of them is the difference of double-clicking in the SQL Editor vs. VBE windows. In the SQL Editor, it will select part of the term (whichever part you actively double-click on), yet in the VBE it will select the entire term. It would be nice if the behavior was consistent.

  10. Highlight or bold objects that are open in design or view mode in the object list pane

    Hello!

We are using MS Office Professional Plus 2013.

When working on more than one object in MS Access design mode, it is very easy to "stack" object windows on top of each other with the items underneath being "lost". It is possible to move another object that is open in design mode to the foreground by clicking on it in the object list pane (the list of objects on the left), but this is not always as easy as it could be because there could be a large number of objects of a particular type, and also the exact…

  11. Correct bug when importing forms with old ie-control

If creating a new empty accdb (acc 2013 32 bit) and you say "import all" and you have a form (in the old accdb) which contains an (older) IE-Control (part from Internet explorer) Then the form cannot copied over to a new database, but that form corrupts. Old bug, but extremely ennoying, as you cannot be sure that the created database is OK. Especially when you have 100+ Forms in it ...

  12. External Data Import Text File

It would be nice when using the Text File Import that the file type selector at least have the option to see All Files as often text files have other extensions than that currently allowed. For instance Log files.

  13. Increase the size of the record display in datasheet view footer

Right now the size is not big enough in many cases depending on the number of records. Since datasheets are usually wide anyway, this can be easily increased.
