Make it possible to properly hide the Navigation Pane
Currently this can be made visible programmatically from an external program via Automation.
The Nav Pain is incredibly problematic.
Every time you refresh table links via automation -- I have a dummy csv linked table that I replace with a stored csv file and then refresh to display charts -- the Nav Pain flys open. Every time I push out a changed front-end, the Nav Pain is open until the second time the file is opened, whereupon the code that hides it is honored. Every time the Nav Pain is opened via F11, it cannot be complete hidden again until the file is closed/opened again.
This is painful. The Nav Pain is painful.
Bring back the Database Window.
That was far more useful UI to the professional dev than the flat file listed Nav Pain ever will be.
My main app has north of 1200 objects.
Who wants those in a flat, busy, visually undifferentiated column list?

I agree, Anders. If I could I would delete this suggestion that I have made here.

While I concur, I've thrown my votes into your other suggestion about preventing an access application from being accessible through automation.
