When creating forms and report Access use the standard naming
Labels as LabelsXX
Buttons as CommandXXX
And so ON
What users do is that they rename this after own preferences
Labels as lblNameofControl
Buttons as btnMyName
This naming option should be customizable for each user so they can set their own rules for how the labels or buttons or other controls should get their name in MS Access
Thank you for posting.
Unfortunately, enforcing a standard way of naming objects isn’t something we see high value in.
It's wasn't about enforcing a standard but would allow users to set their own templates for name creation. It doesn't prevent people choosing their own names. It would not affect any VBA or macros created after the control was named. I can see the value because the default naming can be tedious to edit.

Useless. Everyone has its preferences. You "standard naming" looks weird to me ;-)

If each user could create their own names, how would VBA and macros figure out which names to use?

I don't see the usefulness of this since one way or another you will still need to edit the control's name to give it a meaningful name.
