Fix The Runtime Versions Of Access 2010 And Above To Not Show The Home Tab At Startup

When Access 2007 Runtime opens a password protected database the only thing on the Ribbon is the Access button (Backstage) while the user is prompted for the password.

When Access 2010 and above Runtime opens a password protected database the Home tab is shown in addition to the File (Backstage) button while the user is prompted for the password.

We have an application where the custom Ribbon only contains the File button for printing. It is confusing to the user to see the Home tab while entering the database password.

The request was to fix Access 2010. We have a commercial product using that. Please reopen the request as it is not fixed in 2010.

Microsoft won't even say what version of Access it is PLANNED for or what the ETA might be.

What is the point of posting anything here?

I wouldn't bank on it being in anything other than Access 2016 runtime. Why would MS want to continue to develop older versions apart from on security issues?
