Reports:"fit to page" sizing options, like Excel has.
I've been requesting this since Access version 1!! Why can reports not allow you to "fit to page"? It's always been ludicrous that, in Design, when placing controls, one has no idea whether they will fit within the margins or not - you have to go into Print Preview to check! An option to fit the report onto one page, and perhaps scaling options like Excel has, would make reports so much more effective and easy to create. I cannot believe that tis cannot be achieved.
Thank you for posting and supporting.
Although a valuable suggestion and we can see how it can be useful to many, currently there is no plan to support this.
However, we’d like to recommend using Layout view which will mitigate some of the problems mentioned.

I too wish to see this. It's frustrating to create a report which ultimately you will want to print at some time, only to find you have to squash fields into a different configuration all because there's no overlay that tells you what the page boundaries and margins are!
Layout view does not mitigate this, as it still doesn't show where the edges of, say, an a4 sheet of paper is in Portrait view.
Alternatively, could you provide 'templates' of a4, a5 etc paper where a user/incorrectly placed field can't adjust the width please?
Come on! it should be simple enough to do for you clever people!

@The Access Team, please explain why this is "NO CURRENT PLAN"; from this end user's perspective there really is no good reason for it to be so.

I made the suggestion about a month ago, see: https://access.uservoice.com/forums/319956-access-desktop/suggestions/12458685-make-reporting-like-excel
