integrate db split BE to cloud
The current method to split to SharePoint List at a 365 account was a good start, but is cumbersome to set up & support. The set up of a 365 account and then learning SharePoint is a real barrier. Documentation/support for this arrangement is very scattered between Access, 365 and SharePoint.
An integrated design whereby the Access developer can split the db with an option to put it in the cloud where the cloud is perceived as nothing but a folder would dramatically increase popularity of the product.
Not needing a pre established 365 account (or OneDrive or DropBox), not needing to know/learn any SharePoint is key - and just be BE file in a folder automatically set in the cloud. The ability to use classic desktop Access with no geographic/LAN limitation is huge - but right now just too complicated.
