Allow us to change the default setting for form Controls globally
When we add a control to a form such as a text box, it takes on certain formatting.
In 2010 it looks exactly the same as greyed out used to, and we end up with a really low contrast application, where it's hard to tell if a control is 'live' or not.
We can change the format, for example to a density that we can actually see, and it stays the same for that form only.
Please give us the ability to set out own defaults globally, so that we have a 'house style'
As an example I HATE that all controls are only half bright.
Others may want to standardise on different blue.
Most web developers these days seem to be aiming for the clear uncluttered lines of white on white
At least with A2010 it is possible to create a form in your own design and then go to the Access options and "Object Designers" were you can set the new form as default so it's settings are used for a new form.
You can do the same inside of a form if you click i.e. on the "Textbox" control in the ribbon bar and without adding a Textbox you'll find "Default Textbox" in the properties window at the top. Then you can set all properties you want. All new Textboxes will then follow these settings (but only for the form where you did it). If you do that on a template form new forms will also have all these default control settings. This template design can be done with the other controls, too.
