Allow easy way to highlight the current selected row on continuous forms.

People have been asking for this since 2000. It's a common behavior of all other MS apps. How is this not a feature yet?

There are ways to do this already, but I agree that a built-in method would be helpful.
One way I do this is to create a large textbox behind all of the controls in the detail section. I create a hidden textbox control in the form header that has the current record ID as the control source. Then I apply conditional formatting to the large textbox when the record ID of the row is the same as the hidden textbox. There are plenty of examples of this available online.
The disadvantage I've experienced with this method is extra screen flicker when changing records. I think Microsoft could add a property to the format tab of the Form Detail properties for Selected Back Color (similar to the implementation of Alternate Back Color). Their implementation should be faster and have less overhead than my method that flickers.
