BugFix: Attachment Control
This is an issue that is driving me nuts. I have a small database with 2 forms and a report.
Create a table with a few text fields and an attachment field. (Table1)
Create a form bound to Table1 (Form1)
Create an unbound form with a command button (Form2)
Create an unbound report with a chart (bound to table1 data or query) (Report1)
Create a command button on form1 to open form2
Form2 command button to open report1
Open Form1 – Add data and add an attachment. Click button to open form2
Open Form2 – Click button to open Report1
Print Report1 (Standard ribbon icon or fileprint)
One would expect Report1 to print. Except it doesn’t. Form1 prints, and it prints ALL the records like you were using “print form”
Close DB. Open DB Open Form1 – Add data (DO NOT TOUCH the attachment control). Click command button to open Form2, Click button to open Report1. Print Report1
This time Report1 prints like it should.
I have found no way around this at this time.
Happens in Access 2010, 2013, 2016. I do not have 2019
Also to add... This happens any time the attachment field is accessed. Issue can be duplicated just by accessing the document list popup.
