BUG REPORT - hard crash OLEAUT32.dll 2+ YEARS AND STILL HAPPENING
This bug has been present in MSAccess for over two years. It comes and goes depending on the version. It is now back again. MSAccess will crash as noted:

I noted that the bug appears not to be present on 16.0.12527.21096 64 bit. This really is an awful bug that you guys keep reintroducing every few upgrades. I see many others struggle with the same bug in Access. You must be getting crash reports about it. Please devote resources here and not to new features. Just fix the current program.

I can reproduce the bug almost consistently in my application with SQL server backend.
And yes, seems to be 64bit issue only. -

Hi,
I too have experienced random crashes in the OLEAUT32.dll - can be at anytime on any form. The only solution I have found is to use 32-bit Access not 64-bit, as soon as i changed the installation architecture all those random crashes stopped.
