  1. Enable Access (and all VBA apps) to work with the new Microsoft Graph

"Microsoft Graph is the gateway to data and intelligence in Microsoft 365. Microsoft Graph provides a unified programmability model that you can use to take advantage of the tremendous amount of data in Office 365, Enterprise Mobility + Security, and Windows 10.
You can use the Microsoft Graph API to build apps for organizations and consumers that interact with the data of millions of users. With Microsoft Graph, you can connect to a wealth of resources, relationships, and intelligence, all through a single endpoint: https://graph.microsoft.com."

It seems that just about every language except VBA can be used to run…

  3. Allow Access DBs to be placed into other regions for E3/E5 plans

Can you allow us to put access database into local 0365 data centers for marketing purposes? I need to supply the ability to build registration pages by local marketing staff. These are low volume pages and are perfect for hosting with Access(Limited time frame, easy to build, and external).

  4. Add Common Data Service connectivity?

With the rise of PowerApps and the Common Data Service are there any plans to add this connectivity to Access in a similar way we have connections to SharePoint Lists?

It would be great to use the functionality of Access with the CDS as the data source. I have a few offline related uses for this.

  5. integrate db split BE to cloud

The current method to split to SharePoint List at a 365 account was a good start, but is cumbersome to set up & support. The set up of a 365 account and then learning SharePoint is a real barrier. Documentation/support for this arrangement is very scattered between Access, 365 and SharePoint.

An integrated design whereby the Access developer can split the db with an option to put it in the cloud where the cloud is perceived as nothing but a folder would dramatically increase popularity of the product.

Not needing a pre established 365 account (or OneDrive or DropBox), not…

  6. Sync data between local/offline and cloud db tables

The ability for records to be written locally if they cannot be written to the cloud. On reconnect or user control, resync changes. This should be done with minimal coding by the application developer. Perhaps use Access as a local data store with sync key columns for update to server.

    Thanks.

  7. Import text files stored in OneDrive or Sharepoint directly into MS Access.

Import text files stored in OneDrive or Sharepoint directly into MS Access. It is currently possible to do this with Excel, but only XML files can be imported from an Internet address.

  8. Add conversion/export wizards for Forms and Reports - export to C# and/or PHP

Many of us MS Access fans want to move FE to the web.
Today there already exist good tools for migrate an Access BE to SQL Server.
But it would be great if there also came a MS tool for migrating Forms and Reports.
