  1. Change visual layout of Database Tools Relations

    If you having projects with lots of tables relating to each other the current design waists a lot of space. When opening old relationship windows created in old MSacc, none of those relationships does fit to the design from acc2016. The table name in titlebar carries a to big empty space around. The key sign in my eyes is to big. This "column" below is waisted space on the left side of every table. The column space is to big. For small projects this may working fine. For complex works with 30 to 50 tables this is a nightmare.

  2. Include original table in as well as alias in designer view of a query

    At the top of each table in a query it be very useful to see the original table name and perhaps in brackets the alias name. Otherwise, it can hard to remember the original name especially when dealing with a lot of similar table names.

    Thanks for your consideration!

  4. Allow Listbox text to be centered within a Text Align property like Combo Boxes.

    List boxes do not have a Text Align property like combo boxes do. This means it is not possible to center the text in a list box.

  5. disable autocomplete in query designer

    Allow user to disable the autocomplete in the criteria section of the query designer. When entering a string or number into the criteria you have to hit escape in order for it to not enter a completely unrelated query or table. Good idea in principal, but not executed correctly. Require a (ctrl+space or other hot key) or allow the user to turn this feature off.

  6. enable 'AddItem' VBA command to allow commas to be added

    I don't know if anyone has asked this yet, but I have noticed that when doing a AddItem VBA command, to add a line of text to a listbox, that if the line of text (delimited by semicolons), contains a comma (,), then the text immediately following the comma is moved to the next listbox column, when the text SHOULD BE delimited by semicolons (;). So it seems as if the listbox fields are delimited by either semicolons or commas, but what if a comma is contained in a text field ?

  7. enable colors in listbox

    How about enabling the adding of a different Fore Color to certain colum(s) of a ListBox ? For example, placing positive dollar amounts in Green (fore color), or negative dollar amounts in Red (fore color), when displayed in a listbox ?
    Enabling this ability would be great so that certain columns could stand out from the rest. I think that would be awesome.

  8. Increase length of MsgBox

    it would be great if the length of MsgBox could be increased, especially in scenarios where a lot of important info needs to be displayed until the user clicks Ok, Cancel, etc....Just a thought.

  10. Eliminate the need to compact a backend database

    This is particularily problematic for back-end databases located across a network. If possible, please make this process ongoing under the hood.

    There is a problem with the need to compact and repair a remote back-end database.

    First of all, in order to do so, one must first verify that the file is not currently in use by one of the workstations.

    Secondly, even if done via code, all of the file is copied to the local machine, then it is compacted, and then returned to its original location over the network. For big files this is very cumbersome.

  11. to fix the the problem of exposure of some CommandBarControl's through FindControl

    Hi,
    Here's the problem:
    Despite what the contents of https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=6627 imply, some Controls could not be found by their corresponding ID's (listed in the above-mentioned document):
    * Numbering: 11
    * Bullets: 12
    * IndentIncrease: 3507
    * IndentDecrease: 3508

    (You may find more details in https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/15fe8310-908e-402c-aa99-0e9a47e3e9cc/trying-to-access-the-commandbarcontrol-corresponding-to-bullets-numbering-and-list-level?forum=accessdev#492a9823-0ae2-4f15-b6d2-c372ba9156a8)

    Thanking you in advance for your kind attention.

  14. Datasheet Object should allow for individual Row height values

    When viewing a form or subform in datasheet view mode, having the option to display each row in the datasheet with the height necessary to display all of the text for each column... shrinking or expanding each row as needed, would be great. Then, manual adjustment of a single row should affect only that one row.

  16. Add New Controls through Code

    Instead of having a fixed set of controls that you've manually added to a form, though code, allow it to dynamically add new controls.

  17. Make Access Templates for Visual Studio and/or Integrate the VS Shell into Access

    Microsoft Access is amazing, but the VBA editor leaves a lot to be desired, especially for those of us who use Visual Studio or other IDEs and code editors. If there were a way to build Access applications using Visual Studio, and/or use the VS shell within Access, developers of all different skill sets could get much more done, more quickly.

    Additionally, if there were a way to leverage objects and code created in Access more seamlessly across the .NET ecosystem, plus/including Azure, Office 365, and operating system, it would be easier to turn ad-hoc, proof-of-concept, or minimum viable product…

  18. When DB configured as overlapping docs

    When DB configured as overlapping documents, the corners are very hard to pick when trying to resize windows. Can "the zone" where resize icon is active be made larger?

  19. Custom shortcut menu bar has 'special characters' when it shouldn't

    I have created a ShortCut Menu Bar for my users, however when they right click an entire row the text for "Equals X" or "Does not equal X" turns into jibberish.

  20. innovating a device for changing slides remotely

    Whenever we giving a presentation using projector we need to change the slides by ourselves or by using assistance of other person.some times there may be mistakes in change of slide.

    If we have a device for changing slides we can easily operate them whenever we needed.
