Just get the first record for each whatever in a list
In queries, when there are multiple records for criteria, it would be nice if we could specify to just get the first record matching a certain condition but show all records matching criteria for the query.
Example:
list of all last order dates for a customer0 votes -

Fix unwanted form resizing issues NOW!!!
Rather than ask for a new feature, I'd prefer Microsoft get off their a** and finally fix the broken features Access already has. After years and years, there is no good reason whatsoever why MS Access forms keep blowing up during just because... potato. I use only popup forms. There is no reason why every once in a while my popup forms stop displaying at all, causing me to have to change the popup property to "No" and restart. After all these years of this very same BS, this is just retarded on Microsoft's part. And especially bad is when…

Highlight or bold objects that are open in design or view mode in the object list pane
Hello!
We are using MS Office Professional Plus 2013.
When working on more than one object in MS Access design mode, it is very easy to "stack" object windows on top of each other with the items underneath being "lost". It is possible to move another object that is open in design mode to the foreground by clicking on it in the object list pane (the list of objects on the left), but this is not always as easy as it could be because there could be a large number of objects of a particular type, and also the exact…

Allow for key-in object name in Form/Report property sheet
Right now we must select an object from the drop down list. Depending on the number of objects on a form it can be rather time consuming to scroll to the object you want. It would more user friendly to allow input of the object name just like in a combo box in access.
Thanks for your consideration!

interate a powerful smtp-mail object with html and attachment support
the docmd.sendobject ist too limited.
html formated Mail-Body is essential and easy sending attached files.
the object should be robust, and retry sending if the mailserver is not available.
If the existing Rich Text Control would support Pictures it would be perfect to use it as a mail Editor.
That would be great!0 votes -

SQL Server - Linked Tables: Add discription to field names in development mode.
In MS Access its easy to add descriptions to fields in table editor. These descriptions are neither taken over when using ssma nor are they brought back to Access when already existing in sql server.
I've written a vba-script that creates an T_SQL script to create all field descriptions of a table. But even if descriptions exists they are not reshown in the linked table.

We are designing on a new Linked Table Manager dialog, incorporating suggestions and requests made in UserVoice and other forums.
Stay tuned.

Correct bug when importing forms with old ie-control
If creating a new empty accdb (acc 2013 32 bit) and you say "import all" and you have a form (in the old accdb) which contains an (older) IE-Control (part from Internet explorer) Then the form cannot copied over to a new database, but that form corrupts. Old bug, but extremely ennoying, as you cannot be sure that the created database is OK. Especially when you have 100+ Forms in it ...

RDP of MS Access is Excrutiatingly Slow
I've narrowed down the issue, when the "Property Sheet" on the right is shown RDP lag time is in the seconds, hide the "Property Sheet" and it's back to full speed.
Using latest stable Access 365. Please fix.

Provide an easier method to return or pass property values to a dialog form
I understand this would require a re-wickering of Access forms, but this is difficult to accomplish in Access without some serious workarounds. At least have something like a Dialogresult property as in .Net so the user can get simple values from the dialog form when closed.
