    I understand your frustrations and totally agree.
    Maybe we all should send feednbck direct to micorsoft using the feature?

    I would prefer however if we could remove the File tab completely.
    Running DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Ribbon", acToolbarNo on load is not ideal, especially if you want to use the print preview options for reports.

    I hope this is resolved shortly.
